Hello, everyone! Today, I’m talking about different types of social media apps. The social media apps we are talking about today are Tiktok, Instagram, and Twitter. 

TikTok 

TikTok was made in 2017; it was changed from Musical.ly to TikTok. Ever since then, 1 billion people have used TikTok over the past 4 years! The 2.6 billion people have downloaded the TikTok app. Crazy, right? TikTok is an app that you can make friends off of, and you make videos for other people to watch! 

Instagram

Instagram was made in 2010! It was made by Kevin Systrom. Instagram is a social media platform that emphasizes photo and video sharing via its mobile app. You can take, edit, and publish visual content for your followers to interact with through likes, comments, and shares. 130 million people use Instagram, daily! 

Twitter

Twitter was made in 2006 by 4 different people. Their names are Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Evan Williams, and Biz Stone. Twitter is an American microblogging and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as “tweets”. Registered users can post, like and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them. 330 million people use Twitter on a daily basis!

So, which of these social media apps is your favorite? My personal opinion is that TikTok and Twitter are both awesome, but if I had to choose only one, it would be TikTok! What is your opinion? Comment below.
